The Remote Assistance feature in Windows is aimed at helping users who have little or no troubleshooting knowledge through this feature, a novice user can fix his computer issues over the network with an efficient personnel sitting at any corner of the world. On your computer, Log into Windows 7 as an administrator and then click the "Start" button. Into the search box, Enter "Remote Assistance" and then press the "Enter" key.

From the list of results, Click the "Windows Remote Assistance" option and then click the "Invite someone you trust to help you" option.

Select the contact that you want to connect with and then select the "Invite this person" option.

Enter your password and then click the "Save Invitation" button. Close out of the window and then click the "Start" button.

Click the "Run" option and then into the text box, enter "msconfig". Click the "OK" button and then from the System Configuration Utility dialog box, select the "Boot" tab

Click the box next to the "/SAFEBOOT" field and then click the "OK" button. Select the "Restart" button to start your computer in Safe Mode.

For the Remote Assistance session to start, the other user must then accept your Remote Assistance invitation. Once he accepts it, he can take control of the system to solve the issues in it.

Note: While sending invitation to someone for help, make sure he is a trustable person as he can view your complete system.
